We are a teaching facility that provides many educational opportunities to our nurses which include internal programming as well as attendance at outside conferences/inservices. Upon hire, nurses are provided an individualized orientation, tailored to meet their professional and personal needs. 

Jefferson House utilizes a collaborative approach to patient centered care with excellent staffing ratios and on site medical services with Hartford Hospital geriatricians. We also provide a high level of evidence based practice and participate in special studies, research and programs in the community, i.e. Qualidigm.
