Such gifts are a wonderful expression of caring and appreciation, and have been an important tradition at Hartford Hospital for years. Tribute gifts include gifts made in memory of a loved one or in honor of family, friends or a notable event. Just as special are gifts given by patients and their families in appreciation of care provided by our doctors, nurses and other staff.

For years, Erin Naspo had a tumor growing inside her heart. Doctors weren’t sure if she was born with it, but they believe she had it from childhood. Her only symptoms were those of asthma, for which she was treated since she was eight. ( more)
