The Department of EMS Education provides educational programs for all members of the health care team.  These courses include initial training as EMS providers and EMS related continuing education courses and American Heart Association courses. 
 
The Department of EMS Education is one of the largest American Heart Association Community Training Centers in Connecticut.   In cooperation with the Emergency Department, EMS Education also provides medical control for area pre-hospital providers.
