 For more than 75 years, the Hartford Hospital Auxiliary has assisted Hartford Hospital by providing services and programs that directly benefit the hospital’s patients, staff and visitors.
We are proud to fund special projects and provide gifts to the Hartford Hospital community totaling over $400,000. This success depends on the generous support of our volunteers and sponsors.
On behalf of the Auxiliary membership, we welcome your interest and encourage you to consider joining us! Annual Benefit Golf Tournament
The annual Hartford Hospital Benefit Golf Tournament is the Auxiliary’s most important fundraiser. Consistently, over $200,000 has been raised by each tournament. The proceeds have been used to help fund urgent hospital programs that cannot be covered by the hospital’s annual budget.
The 2011 tournament, held September 22, at Tumble Brook Country Club, Bloomfield, CT, benefitted Hartford Hospital’s “Take the Time” Mobile Mammography Program, operated by Hartford Hospital’s Partnership for Breast Care. The monies raised will help fund the upgrade of the mobile unit to state-of-the-art digital mammography technology, enabling the program to double the volume of mammograms each day, thus providing life saving screening and education to over 5,000 women annually.

The Auxiliary Store is located on the first floor of the Bliss Wing, directly east of the elevators and the main lobby. It offers a wide variety of merchandise and every purchase benefits Hartford Hospital programs.

Au Bon Pain Café
The Auxiliary welcomes the Au Bon Pain Café, located in the former home of the Streetscape Café. In addition to offering freshly prepared sandwiches, salads and desserts on site, the café extends its services to catering breakfast, lunch and snack options for hospital meetings and group gatherings. All Au Bon Pain purchases benefit the Hartford Hospital community.
